About this journal
Hi, I’m Zenx.
Software engineer. Reader. Poker player. Traveler.
Keeping the experiences. Unpacking the ideas.
This site holds a few parts of life: choices at work, ideas found in books, wins and mistakes at the table, and people met on the road. Writing keeps those observations and judgments available to revisit.
The threads often meet. A book review leads back to boundaries in management; a career choice opens a question about AI and individual capability. Some pieces and questions are still taking shape.
Four rooms to explore.
- Library
- Books, and how they change the way I think.
- Cafe
- Personal essays, career reflections, and travel stories.
- Club
- Poker, hand reviews, and observations from the table.
- Studio
- A room set aside for AI exploration and engineering practice.
Writing has room to grow.
The stages 起, 承, 合 mark a beginning, a developing piece, and a finished draft. Flop, Turn, and River borrow the same idea from poker. They describe the writing’s stage of completion. Substantive revisions can carry a date and a short revision note.
